Terms of service for Algo-8 professional forex account management

Effective Date

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of July 12, 2025 and apply to all users of Algo-8 services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Algo-8 services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

What This Means

Using our website, contacting us, or engaging our services means you accept these terms. We recommend reading them carefully.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Algo-8. Your continued use of our services after any modifications to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Service Description

Algo-8 provides professional forex account management services, including:

  • Account Management: Professional trading of your forex account using our systematic approach
  • News Trading Strategy: Specialized trading around major economic news events
  • Risk Management: Professional risk controls and position sizing
  • Performance Monitoring: Real-time account monitoring and reporting
  • Client Support: Ongoing communication and account assistance

Service Scope

Our services are limited to account management and do not include personalized financial advice, tax guidance, or comprehensive financial planning.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

3.1 Client Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • Reside in a jurisdiction where forex trading is legal
  • Meet minimum investment requirements ($500 USD minimum)
  • Have a trading account with one of our approved regulated brokers

3.2 Account Setup Requirements

Clients must:

  • Open accounts with FCA, ASIC, CySEC, or FINRA regulated brokers
  • Open accounts with regulated brokers that have appropriate compensation schemes in their jurisdiction
  • Provide trading access permissions (not withdrawal permissions)
  • Maintain adequate account funding for trading activities
  • Ensure all account information is accurate and current

4. Fees and Payment Terms

4.1 Fee Structure

Simple Fee Structure

No upfront fees – we only earn when you earn. 50% of monthly profits (if any) are our fee.

  • Performance Fee: 50% of net monthly profits
  • No Management Fees: No monthly or annual management charges
  • No Setup Fees: No costs to begin service
  • No Loss Sharing: Losses remain 100% client responsibility

4.2 Payment Terms

Performance fees are calculated monthly and invoiced at month-end. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Fees are only charged on profitable months.

4.3 Additional Costs

Clients are responsible for:

  • Broker spreads and commissions
  • Any applicable taxes on profits or fees
  • Currency conversion costs (if applicable)

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining sufficient account balance for trading
  • Monitoring account performance regularly
  • Ensuring broker account remains in good standing
  • Promptly notifying us of any account issues

5.2 Information Accuracy

  • Providing accurate personal and financial information
  • Updating contact information when changes occur
  • Reporting any unauthorized account access

5.3 Compliance

  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Meeting tax obligations in your jurisdiction
  • Ensuring eligibility for forex trading services

6. Trading and Investment Terms

6.1 Trading Authority

By engaging our services, you grant Algo-8 limited trading authority over your account, specifically:

  • Authority to execute forex trades
  • Authority to manage open positions
  • Authority to implement risk management measures

Important: Withdrawal Authority

We never request or require withdrawal authority. Your funds remain under your complete control at all times.

6.2 Trading Strategy

Our trading approach focuses on:

  • Major economic news events and announcements
  • Systematic risk management protocols
  • Selective trading opportunities (8-12 monthly)
  • Professional position sizing and management

6.3 Performance Expectations

  • Past performance does not guarantee future results
  • Trading involves risk of loss
  • Profitable and unprofitable periods are normal
  • Performance may vary based on market conditions

7. Service Limitations

7.1 What We Don’t Provide

  • Personalized investment advice or financial planning
  • Tax advice or preparation services
  • Guaranteed returns or profit promises
  • Insurance against trading losses
  • 24/7 customer support (business hours only)

7.2 Service Interruptions

Service may be temporarily suspended due to:

  • Extreme market conditions
  • Technical issues or system maintenance
  • Broker-related problems
  • Regulatory or legal requirements

7.3 Geographic Limitations

Our services may not be available in all jurisdictions. We reserve the right to refuse service based on regulatory requirements or business considerations.

8. Termination and Suspension

8.1 Client Termination

You may terminate our services at any time by:

  • Providing 24 hours written notice
  • Revoking trading permissions from your broker account
  • Settling any outstanding performance fees

8.2 Algo-8 Termination for Non-Payment

Payment and Termination Policy

Performance fees are invoiced monthly in EUR based on 50% of trading profits. Strict payment terms apply.

Our termination process for non-payment:

  1. Invoice Period: Performance fees invoiced at month-end in EUR currency
  2. Payment Due: Payment must be received within 7 days of invoice date
  3. Grace Period: If payment not received, we provide additional 14 days grace period (total 21 days)
  4. Final Termination: If no payment or communication received within 21 days, account is permanently removed from our system
  5. Permanent Block: Clients terminated for non-payment are permanently blocked and cannot re-engage our services

8.3 Communication During Grace Period

During the 14-day grace period, we will attempt contact via:

  • Email notifications
  • Phone calls (if number provided)
  • Final notice communications

Important: No Re-Engagement

Clients terminated for non-payment cannot return to our services under any circumstances. This policy is strictly enforced.

8.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Trading activity ceases immediately
  • Account removed from our trading system
  • Client retains full access to their broker account
  • Outstanding fees remain due and payable
  • All communication and support ends

9. Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Protection

This section limits our liability and explains what we’re responsible for (and what we’re not).

9.1 Service Provision

Algo-8 provides services on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties regarding:

  • Profitability or investment performance
  • Uninterrupted service availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Specific investment outcomes

9.2 Limitation of Damages

Our liability is limited to the amount of fees actually paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for:

  • Trading losses or investment performance
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Lost profits or business interruption
  • Third-party actions or broker-related issues

9.3 Client Acknowledgment

By using our services, you acknowledge that:

  • Trading involves risk of loss
  • We cannot guarantee profitable outcomes
  • You accept responsibility for investment decisions
  • Professional advice should be sought for major financial decisions

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1 Information Collection

To register and use our services, we require the following personal information:

Required Client Information

We collect only essential information needed for service provision and account management.

  • Personal Details: Client email address, mobile phone number, country of residence, and billing address
  • Account Verification: If client name differs from broker account holder name, we require the account holder’s full information for system compliance
  • Communication Records: Records of all service-related communications and instructions
  • Trading Data: Account performance and trading history for reporting purposes

Account Holder Verification

When the client name does not match the broker account holder name, we must collect and verify the account holder’s information to maintain system integrity and compliance.

All personal information is collected solely for service provision and account management purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties except as required for service delivery or legal compliance.

10.2 Information Protection

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information and will not share personal data with third parties except as required by law or for service provision.

10.3 Communication

By engaging our services, you consent to receive communications via email, phone, or other electronic means for service-related purposes.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be:

  • Posted on our website with an updated effective date
  • Communicated to active clients via email
  • Effective 30 days after notification

Your Options

If you disagree with modified terms, you may terminate services before the effective date of changes.

12. General Provisions

12.1 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation between parties
  2. Binding arbitration if negotiation fails
  3. Courts of competent jurisdiction in England and Wales

12.3 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

12.4 Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between parties and supersede all prior understandings or agreements.
